Media Player
-
A media player is a program that replays multimedia content. To replay the content, both the technology to separate the video file into image and sound and the codec technology to decompress the separated image and sound are needed. Rendering technology is also needed, which displays the image on the screen or activates the sound in the speaker.
CDNetworks' Media Player supports interactive plug-ins for end users. It includes a Digital Rights Management (DRM) system that protects copyrights, and provides both authentication technology and watermarking to embed user information.
