Hybrid Download
- Hybrid Download is different from single-session oriented download services using Web servers or FTP, in that it downloads content in parallel from multiple servers using multiple sessions. Since it downloads content fragments from multiple servers, it can dramatically increase transfer performance. It can also selectively apply P2P technology, thereby reducing server network traffic cost.
- Service problem minimization
-
- Hybrid Download is a multi-session download system; therefore the download service is maintained even if one of
the servers is shut down.
- P2P Technology
-
- Network traffic cost is reduced because P2P technology allows content download not only from the servers but
also from clients.
- P2P technology can be used selectively
- Optimum quality-of-Service guarantee
-
- If the quality-of-service degrades below the specified download speed, sessions are added to guarantee
download speeds
- Real-time statistics
-
- Real-time retrieval and display of download service statistical data, including: traffic status, user connection
status, download speed, etc.
- Resumption of interrupted downloads
- - Resumption of interrupted downloads saves system resources and reduces transfer time
- Exclusive client
-
- Visual representation of download data, including: the download speed, expected completion time, downloaded
volume, etc.
- SDK
- - Use of Software Developers Kit (SDK) allows customers to produce their own download client
