Position: Senior Software Engineer (Web Developer)

Overview

• CDNetworks is looking for a senior web developer to help build the next generation of dynamic web application for the management of large distributed systems. Successful candidate will have solid experience utilizing CSS, Javascript and various scripting languages to create dynamic websites. We are looking for a self motivated individual who can be an advocate within the company for enhancing the user experience of various services

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary designer for the operator portal used for managing all the CDN services
• Implement Javascript to enhance the usability of the various internal applications
• Developing the backend systems for the generation of dynamic applications
• Create APIs to integrate with other systems

Qualifications/Skills

Required…
• At least 5 years of experience building web application front ends
• Understanding of user interface design principles with strong customer focus
• Extensive knowledge of cross-browser CSS and Javascript libraries (Dojo, jQuery, MooTools, Yahoo! UI, etc.)

Preferred…
• Experience in developing backend systems using Python or other scripting languages
• Experience with a Model-View-Controller framework (Django, Drupal, Ruby, etc.)
• Knowledge of SQL and database design principles
